Day 1: Q.A.I Airport – Amman (Dinner)    

Arrive at Queen Alia Int'l. Meet, Assist & then transfer to your hotel in Amman.

Dinner & overnight in Amman

 

Day 2: Amman – Jarash - Anjara – Jesus Cave – Tell Mar Elias – Pella – Amman (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)    

After breakfast, transfer to visit Jarash; the best-preserved Roman city of the Decapolis. Entering the city through the monumental South Gate, one comes upon the lovely Oval Plaza, the Temple of Zeus, and the South Theater, which seats more than 3,000 spectators. Walking through the Colonnaded Street, one can see the Market Place, the Omayyad residential quarter, a 4th century AD cathedral, St. Theodore’s Church, the Nymphaeum, and the North Theater.

Transfer to the biblical city of Anjara. It is believed that Jesus Christ and his disciples including Virgin Mary passed through Anjara once and rested in a cave there during a journey between Jerusalem and Galilee.Then, visit the nearby Cave of Jesus that has long been a holy place for pilgrims. Then proceed to Tell Mar Elias that has long been identified with Tishbe, mentioned in the Bible as the hometown or region of the Prophet Elijah. The remains of one of the largest known Byzantine churches in Jordan can also be found at the site. After that drive to visit Pella that is one of the richest archaeological sites in Jordan; In AD 67 Pella provided a refuge of some Christians fleeing the Roman destruction of Jerusalem. Then return to Amman.

Day 3: Amman – Madaba – Nebo - Bethany – Dead Sea – Petra (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)      

After breakfast, drive to Madaba (home of the most famous Byzantine mosaics); Visit the greatest and most significant of all the city’s treasures, the wonderful mosaic map of ancient Palestine, which is located on the floor of the Greek Orthodox Church of St. George.

Then visit Mount Nebo, which dates back to the time of the Prophet Moses, around the 12th century BC. It is believed to be the site of the Prophet’s burial place and the point from where he viewed the “Promised Land”.  Drive to visit Bethany where Jesus Christ was baptized by John the Baptist. Stunning archaeological discoveries between the Jordan River and Tall al-Karrer since 1996 have identified this area as biblical "Bethany beyond the Jordan" where John was living when he baptized Jesus. Continue to the Dead Sea (the lowest point on the earth) to enjoy swimming and floating on its salty water. Then, proceed to Petra.

Day 4: Petra visit – Wadi Rum (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)    

After breakfast, visit the Red Rose city of Petra, which was carved out of the solid Rock before about 2000 years ago by the Arab Nabateans. Start the tour on horse-back till the Dam area, then on foot pass by the fascinating narrow gorge (the Siq), which is about one kilometer long and eighty meters high. Once of a sudden you will be facing Petra’s most famous monument the Treasury (el-Khazneh). Free time for exporing the site. Drive to Wadi Rum, one of the world’s most colorful and unique landscapes of desert and mountain scenery.

Day 5: Wadi Rum – Karak Castle - Um Al Rasas – Amman (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)    

After breakfast, tour through Wadi Rum colored sands by Bedouin four-wheel drive vehicles for two hours. Continue to Karak, where you will visit its imposing Crusader castle.

Then, visit Um Al-Rasas; one of the most important archaeological site that was declared a World Heritage Site in 2004. Its structures date from the 3rd to 9th centuries and most have not yet been excavated. The site is especially known for its magnificent Byzantine mosaics, which have been uncovered in two churches dating from the 6th and 8th centuries. Continue to Amman.

Day 6: Amman – Allenby Bridge - Cana / Nazareth – Tiberias (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)    

After breakfast, transfer to Allenby Bridge to cross the border to Israel. You'll be welcomed at the border by your local guide and driver. Head to the idyllic village of Cana. Here you'll visit the Church of the Wedding Miracle, where Jesus turned water to wine. From Cana, proceed to the biblical city of Nazareth. The towering Basilica of Annunciation was built on the site where Angel Gabriel revealed to Mary the news of the divine conception.

After touring this imposing structure, walk down to visit Joseph’s carpentry workshop, and pass by the well of Mary. Continue to Tiberias.

Day 7: Full Day Tiberias (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)    

Early after breakfast, visit the Jesus Ministry around the Sea of Galilee, followed by a boat ride, a visit of the Mount of Beatitudes, where Jesus preached the Sermon on the Mount, and see the famous Chapel, constructed in 1939. Continue to Capernaum, which is believed to have been Jesus' home and the center of his ministry.  Here we can stand in what is left of the synagogue in which Jesus ministered, and where he performed many miracles. Visit the Jesus Synagogue and the House of St. Peter. Proceed to the Primacy of Peter, where Jesus appeared to his disciples after the Resurrection. Return to your hotel.

Dinner & overnight in Tiberias 

 

Day 8: Tiberias - Haifa / Caesarea / Ein Karem – Jerusalem (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)    

After breakfast, check out and drive to the port city of Haifa. Here you'll enjoy the breathtaking view of the Haifa Bay from Mt Carmel. Visit the Stella Maris convent and church, inside which you'll find the cave of Elijah.

Next, tour the Bahai Gardens and the fantastic Persian hanging gardens. Head to Muharakha, site of the battle between Elijag and the prophets of Baa’l. At this site you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the entire Israel (Jezreel) Valley. Continue to the ancient Roman port city of Ceasaria.

Take a short tour of this historical site and view the Roman ruins of the amphitheater and aqueduct. Visit the sleepy village of Ein Karem. Ein Karem is one of the most beautiful settings near Jerusalem, located in the hills next to the little spring that was the birthplace of John the Baptist.

Day 9: Full Day Jerusalem / Mount Olives /Mt Zion/ Old City of Jerusalem – Bethlehem (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)    

After breakfast, visit the Old City of Jerusalem. First, visit St. Anne Church and the Pool of Bethesda. Then, walk the stations of the Way of The Cross - Via Dolorosa the way of sorrows (14 Stations of the Cross) to visit the Judgment Hall of Pilate, Church of Flagellation, all the way to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher.

Pass the Jewish Quarter and the Armenian Quarter to see the last remaining western wall of the Jewish Temple. Proceed to the top of the Mount of Olives and visit the Church of the Ascension. Head down to the Gethsemane and see 2000-year-old olive trees, plus several other important sights.

Visit St Peter at Galicantu, one of the most striking churches in Jerusalem, commemorating the apostle Peter’s triple denial of his master, his immediate repentance, and his reconciliation with Christ after the Resurrection. Continue to Bethlehem and visit the Church of the Nativity. Then, visit Our Lady of Milk Grotto Church. Back to Jerusalem

Day 10: Jerusalem – Tel Aviv airport (Breakfast)    

After breakfast, transfer to Tel Aviv airport for departure.
